The Danish government has confirmed its readiness to engage in dialogue with the new U.S. administration on Arctic territories.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen.

"We agree that the Americans have certain concerns about the security situation in the Arctic, which we share and therefore in close cooperation with Greenland, we are ready to continue talks with the incoming U.S. president, in order to ensure legitimate American interests," Rasmussen stated.

It should be noted that just a few days ago, Donald Trump mentioned that Greenland should be included in the U.S. in order to protect against threats from China and Russia.
