Russia denounces fake letter on plane crash

The alleged fake letter written by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is a political order and an attempt to speculate about the crash of the passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines.

Axar.az informs that this was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

"A fictitious letter written in English from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is circulating on the Internet. This letter emphasizes that our country cannot guarantee the safe use of Russian airspace. This is a gross fraud. It is a primitive message designed to provoke an emotional reaction. is an example of fraud.

The fake authors didn't even bother to give it official attributes, sending it from a normal email domain and a normal email address.

"It seems that behind such malicious misinformation, there is a political order and an attempt to speculate about the accident of the passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines on December 25 near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan," the information stated.
