The United States has removed Turkiye from the list of sanctions imposed concerning Syria.

Axar.az informs that Turkish media reported this information.

It was stated that U.S. President Joe Biden has updated the executive order signed in 2019 regarding Syria.

The executive order also removed accusations regarding Turkiye’s operations in Syria, such as "disrupting peace and stability," from the text.

On the other hand, general sanctions targeting those who support blocked individuals and groups have been expanded.
