The population of Azerbaijan has increased by 41,232 people, or 0.4%, since the beginning of last year, reaching 10 million 222 thousand 2 people as of December 1, 2024.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the State Statistics Committee.

It was noted that 54.5% of the population resides in urban areas, 45.5% in rural areas, 49.8% are men, and 50.2% are women.
