The hot weather conditions observed in the country are expected to continue until August 8, with the maximum air temperature expected to be 35-40 degrees in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 29-34 degrees in mountainous regions, 35-40 degrees in the Central Plain, as well as in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and up to 41 degrees in some places.

Southeast winds are expected to prevail on the Absheron Peninsula, including in coastal areas, which will lead to an increase in relative humidity and stagnant weather conditions.
