Baku hosts Syria–Israel talks

A meeting was held in Baku between Syrian Foreign Minister Assad al-Sheibani and Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer.

Axar.az informs that AFP reported.

It was reported that Sheibani was on a visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, on July 30.

He arrived in Baku from Moscow for talks with the Israeli minister.

A diplomatic source told AFP that the meeting focused on the security situation in southern Syria, in particular.

Various Arab and Israeli media reported that the meeting took place on July 31.
