Turkiye appoints new National Security Council chief

The new Secretary-General of Turkiye's National Security Council has been announced.

Axar.az reports that the head of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Okay Memish, has been appointed as the Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC).

At the same time, Ali Hamza Pehlivan has been appointed as the new head of AFAD.
