Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, has limited Musk’s access, denying him an office in the West Wing and relegating his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to a separate building.

Trump’s recent social media post jokingly suggested Musk should rescue stranded astronauts, which some interpreted as a subtle jab. Musk has also criticized Trump’s $500 billion AI project, Stargate, due to his feud with OpenAI’s CEO.
