US President Donald Trump has not committed to sending American troops to the Gaza Strip.

Axar.az reports that White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said this at a briefing.

"He (Trump) also said that the United States is not prepared to pay for the reconstruction of Gaza. The administration will work with regional partners to rebuild this region," Leavitt added.

It should be noted that D. Trump has proposed relocating Gaza residents to Egypt and Jordan. He even said that the US government would send troops to Gaza if necessary.
