Istanbul extends school break due to blizzard

Due to a severe blizzard in Istanbul, the school holidays have been extended until February 21.

Axar.az reports that Istanbul Governor Davut Gul said this in a statement to the media.

He also said that the movement of motorcycles and similar vehicles is prohibited due to icy roads.

It should be noted that weather forecasters have warned that there will be a severe blizzard in Istanbul on February 21-22.
