Ukraine has adopted a law that gives the president the right to send armed forces to other states.

Axar.az reports that the law was approved by the Verkhovna Rada.

267 deputies voted in favor of the document.

According to the law, during martial law, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be sent to other states and remain on the territory of these states "to ensure national security and defense, repel and prevent armed aggression against Ukraine, and implement measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity." The decision on the redirection of military units to other states during martial law will be made by the president of the country.
