Iwasawa elected ICJ President

Japanese judge Yuji Iwasawa has been elected President of the International Court of Justice.

Axar.az reports that the IJC published a statement on this.

It should be noted that Iwasawa has been a member of the court since June 22, 2018. He previously worked as a professor of international law at the University of Tokyo and was the chairman of the UN Human Rights Committee.
