Qarabag is close to finalizing the transfer of Brazilian footballer Andre Clóvis.

Axar.az informs the Aghdam club has made significant progress in negotiations with the striker.

Reportedly, they have managed to persuade Clóvis, whom head coach Gurban Gurbanov wishes to have in his squad. A final agreement between the sides is expected soon.

If the transfer goes through, Qarabag may even register him for the next stage of their European competition matches.

It should be noted that the 27-year-old forward is currently under contract with Portugal’s Academico Viseu until June 30, 2028. Over his career, Clóvis has played for Internacional, Leixões, and Estoril.
