President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree approving the "Agreement on strategic partnership in the field of development and transmission of green energy between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan".

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan published a statement on this.

"Under the agreement, the transmission of the 'green energy' produced through the Caspian Sea will be organized, and the project will be coordinated with the energy cable connecting the Black Sea. The Ministry of Energy has been appointed the authorized body responsible for the implementation of the international agreement," the statement said.

It should be noted that the agreement was signed on November 13, 2024, in Baku.
