Newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has invited President Volodymyr Zelensky to participate the Group of Seven (G7) summit in June.

Axar.az reports, citing Le Journal de Quebec, Canada, which holds the G7 presidency this year, has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to participate in the upcoming summit set to take place in June in western Canada, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday.

The G7 leaders' summit will take place from June 15 to 17 in Kananaskis County, located in the western province of Alberta.
