Hamas prime minister killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Issam al-Da'alis, the de facto prime minister of the Hamas-led government in the Gaza Strip, was killed in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli Air Force on the enclave last night.

Axar.az informs via Al Arabiya that sources say al-Da'alis died when an Israeli missile hit the house he was in. In addition, the deputy head of the Hamas Ministry of Interior in Gaza, Mahmoud Abu Watfa, was also killed during the air raids.

No official statements have been made by Hamas regarding the incident.
