Erdogan cautions on India-Pakistan tensions

We are concerned that tensions between India and Pakistan could escalate into a conflict.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in a statement to the media after he met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani.

"I wish God's mercy on our brothers who lost their lives in the attacks, and I once again express my condolences to the brotherly people and government of Pakistan. Yesterday, we had an important conversation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. We are positive about Pakistan's request for an international investigation into the heinous terrorist attack in Kashmir. We will spare no effort to prevent tension," the Turkish leader said.
