Today, a phone call between Putin and Trump will take place, during which they will try to agree on the terms of a ceasefire in Ukraine. The entire world is awaiting this conversation. It is scheduled for the morning, according to Washington time, and in the evening, according to Moscow time.

Axar.az reports that Russian political analyst Sergey Markov shared this information.

According to him, the positions of the parties stand out due to their differences:

- The Ukrainian regime and Europe demand a ceasefire without conditions. They want to use it to supply weapons to the Ukrainian army, for mass mobilization into the army, for the deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine, and to start a new phase of the war again.

- Russia, in order to prevent this, demands four main conditions for the ceasefire: 1) an embargo on the supply of weapons to Ukraine during the ceasefire period. 2) A ban on mobilization during the ceasefire period. 3) A ban on the training of Ukrainian soldiers at NATO bases in Europe. 4) A prohibition on the deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine under any pretext.

- Trump wants to stop the fighting, and the conditions are not important to him. But he wants to find some compromise.

- The results of the negotiations are difficult to predict.
