Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has been urgently admitted to a private hospital in Karachi due to his deteriorating condition.

Axar.az reports that Zardari is currently receiving treatment, and doctors are conducting the necessary medical examinations to assess his condition. Security measures have been tightened around the hospital: law enforcement agencies have restricted unauthorized access to the premises.

The day before his hospitalization, the president attended the Eid al-Fitr prayers at his residence in Nawabshah. He was accompanied there by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Provincial Minister Ali Hassan, and a number of people.

Recall that in 2024, during a private visit to the UAE, Zardari broke his leg while getting off a plane in Dubai.

No official statement has been made about his health yet.
