Nepalese President receives Azerbaijan's Deputy FM

Today, the President of Nepal, Ramchandra Paudel received Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister, Elnur Mammadov.

Axar.az reports, citing APА, at the meeting held today at the Presidential Palace in Kathmandu, President Paudel expressed his satisfaction with the new pace of development in relations between the two countries (Azerbaijan and Nepal - ed.). Note that the first political consultations between Nepal and Azerbaijan were held last Wednesday following the arrival of Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mammadov.

Recalling that Nepal was represented at the Global Climate Conference COP-29 held in Azerbaijan in November 2024, the head of state expressed confidence that relations between Nepal and Azerbaijan will further strengthen in the future.
