A phone conversation took place between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
Axar.az informs that this was reported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was noted that the ministers discussed matters arising from the Azerbaijan–Pakistan partnership, as well as various aspects of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda.
Satisfaction was expressed regarding the growing dynamic of high-level and top-level mutual visits. Issues stemming from the Azerbaijan–Turkiye–Pakistan Trilateral Summit held in the city of Lachin were also discussed, including preparations for the upcoming Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting to be held on June 21–22 in Istanbul, and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit, which Azerbaijan will host in July.
During the phone call, the sides also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest.
