Turkish intelligence chief (MIT) Ibrahim Kalin met with Hamas leaders in Turkiye on Saturday to discuss the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Axar.az reports that Kalin, who met with Hamas Political Bureau Chief Mohammed Darwish and the delegation he led, discussed initiatives to ensure a permanent ceasefire and ways to counter Israel's plans to forcibly transfer the population of Gaza.
Kalin assured them of Turkiye's continued support and said Ankara would firmly oppose any new attempts to occupy or annex Palestinian territory.
