Senior officials of the European Union are increasingly convinced of the toxicity of the President of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, and are demanding her resignation.

Axar.az reports that the Swiss magazine “Die Weltwoche” published this information, citing diplomatic sources.

According to the information, Brussels believes that the resignation of the EC head could unblock many processes in the EU.

“The political crisis in the EU is not in von der Leyen’s favor. In the West, there is a trade dispute with the US, in the East, the conflict in Ukraine and the deterioration of relations with Russia (sanctions are also a type of trade war), and, on top of that, the confrontation with China, which is not very encouraging for the continent, continues.”
