Ukraine is set to sign a finalized natural resources agreement with the United States as early as Wednesday, aiming to strengthen economic ties and support reconstruction efforts amid the ongoing war with Russia.

Axar.az, citing Bloomberg, reports that the deal includes a joint investment fund focused on mining, energy, and related technologies, and ensures alignment with Ukraine’s EU aspirations.

Notably, only future US military aid will count toward the US contribution to the fund, following Washington's decision to drop demands over past aid.

President Trump, growing frustrated over stalled ceasefire efforts, is confident the deal will reinforce US-Ukraine partnership. However, some technical details of the fund are still pending.
