Former French President Nicolas Sarközy has been released early from house arrest, where he was sentenced to "influence and pressure on the investigation."

Axar.az reports that the sentence came into effect after the decision of the Court of Cassation.

It should be noted that in 2021, a Paris court found 70-year-old Nicolas Sarközy guilty of corruption and abuse of power.
