Finnish President Alexander Stubb says that the United States has not given up its role as a mediator in resolving Russia’s military actions against Ukraine.

Axar.az reports “There are now more mediators: previously, only the U.S. played this role, but now Europe is also involved,” Stubb noted.

According to the president, the situation is developing positively, as Europe hopes to take part in discussions on a ceasefire in Ukraine and a potential peace agreement.
