Erdogan: Disarming YPG key to PKK elimination

The process of disarming and eliminating the PKK terrorist organization also includes the YPG, the organization's Syrian branch.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in a statement to journalists.

"We consider the coming days to be very critical. Our relevant institutions and their (Damascus) colleagues are monitoring the process of all armed groups becoming part of the Syrian army. We are following the issue of the YPG very closely. The Damascus leadership should not divert its attention from this issue. This is very important," Erdogan said.
