Saudi Arabia has denied reports that it will ease its alcohol ban in 600 tourist areas of the country by 2026.

Axar.az informs that Reuters reported on this.

“A Saudi Arabian official announced that the 73-year-old alcohol ban will not be eased,” the report said.

It should be noted that a few days ago, it was suggested that the kingdom, which is preparing to host the 2034 World Cup, would allow the controlled sale of alcoholic beverages.
