During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, I listened to Moscow’s reaction to the negotiation process on Ukraine held in Istanbul on May 16 and conveyed Ankara’s position.
Axar.az reports this was stated by Turkiyes Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
“The meeting took place in a very warm atmosphere. We mainly discussed the talks related to Ukraine. We also talked about the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, relations between Turkiye and Russia, and the current Botas-Gazprom process. After the negotiations in Istanbul, I shared some of our views and received their reactions so that my upcoming visit to Kyiv would be productive,” he said.
It should be noted that Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was on a visit to Moscow from May 25 to 27.
