Khamenei appoints new IRGC ground forces Commander

On Thursday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei announced the appointment of Brigadier General Mohammad Karami as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by Iranian media, Karami previously served as the commander of the Quds Headquarters of the IRGC Ground Forces and as governor of Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
