Nearly 1 million foreigners have left the United States since President Donald Trump began cracking down on illegal immigration earlier this year.

Axar.az reports that the Center for Migration Studies, an independent research organization, reported this.

“The total number of working and unemployed foreigners decreased by 957,000 between January and May 2025. As of May 2025, there were 14.8 million illegal immigrants living in the United States, down 1 million from January. After Trump won the presidential election and law enforcement agencies stepped up efforts to deport migrants, non-citizens are leaving the country,” the report said.
