Axar.az reports that these thoughts were expressed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech at the opening ceremony of the "Azerbaijan" neighborhood in the city of Kahramanmaraş on June 19.

The Turkish leader recalled that he was in Lachin on Azerbaijan's Independence Day on May 28. Following Fuzuli and Zangilan, an international airport was opened there. "I attended the opening of the new airport together with my brother Ilham Aliyev," Erdogan said.

The Turkish President expressed hope that the achievement of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia will give new impetus to efforts towards the development and restoration of the region.
