Ilham Aliyev to visit Turkiye on June 19

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will visit Turkiye on June 19, 2025, at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports this was announced by Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

He stated, “Together with our President and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, we will inaugurate the ‘Azerbaijan Neighborhood’—a permanent residential complex built in the city of Kahramanmaras by Turkiye and Azerbaijan after the February 2023 earthquake.”

Altun added that during the visit, the current state of Turkish-Azerbaijani relations and key regional developments will also be discussed.
