On July 28, US President Donald Trump set a new deadline for Russian President Vladimir Putin to reach a peace agreement with Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was written by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, on his X account.

According to him, Trump is playing an ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10”.

"He must remember two things: 1. Russia is not Israel, or even Iran. 2. Every new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country," he wrote.
