Strong wind with a speed of 41m/sec destroyed 150 meters long part of pier located in left and right of No.3 Oil Accumulation Point of Oil and Gas Production Office after name of N.Narimanov of "Azneft" PA on 15.12.2016 at 05:00.

According to the information given to Axar.az from SOCAR, the destroyed part of pier took pitch and stall which was located on it.

According to primary informations, 5 people in Oil Accumulation point and 5 people in stall (10 in total) went missing:

2. Zulfugarov Azay - operator

3. Gurbanov Vidadi - operator

4. Hasanov Elchin - mechanician

5. Hacıaliyev Hasanaga - operator

6. Gafarov Ilham - operator

7. Asadov Samir - operator

8. Bahramov Cavid - operator

9. Abbasov Ramiz - machinist

10. Rustamov Qorkhmaz - operator

Vessels of the Caspian Sea Shipping Company and Ministry of Emergency Situations was involved to the scene. Search and rescue operations continue. Directory of Emergency Situations Ministry, SOCAR and "Azneft" is at the scene. A special commission was established to investigate the incident.
