Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulations to his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caid Essebsi on the occasion of his country’s national holiday.

The letter as follows:

“Dear Mr. President, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I convey my most sincere congratulations to You and your people on the occasion of Tunisia's national holiday - Independence Day. I believe that Azerbaijan-Tunisia friendship and cooperation will further develop and expand in accordance with the interests of our peoples. I wish You robust health, success in your activities and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Tunisia.”
