An inert example of the QFAB-250 LG aviation bomb, manufactured at the facilities of the Ministry of Defense Industry, was demonstrated for the first time at IDEF-2019 exhibition in Istanbul.

The laser-guided, 250-kilogram frag aviation bomb was created based on the joint project prepared by the Turkish-based ASELSAN Company and Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry. The Ministry said that three inert samples of the aviation bomb are ready and these samples are planned to be tested. After completion of inert samples testing, it is planned to carry out tests of combat samples.

The QFAB-250 LG aviation bomber was created in accordance with NATO standards. This product is intended for domestic demand and export.
