Libya loses 60 million per day due to embarg

Libya is losing $ 60 million a day because of its inability to sell oil to the EU.

This was stated by the EU Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

He said the oil embargo seriously undermined the country's economy:

“The EU's total assistance to this country is $ 600 million. This is equivalent to a 10-day oil sale.”
