Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and his American counterpart Danny Ray Brouillette had a telephone conversation.

It is reported that the parties discussed the possibility of cooperation with the G20 and the World Bank, as well as the price of oil on world markets.

Both ministers said that the surplus of supply and demand in the oil market did not contribute to the development of the global energy sector, but also posed a risk to the supply of stable supplies to the market after the recovery of the international economy.

In addition, the parties discussed the need to take constructive measures against the existing challenges and continue mutual consultations.
