The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev, has concluded in Baku, yielding 23 investment agreements valued at $10.8 billion with international investors and partner companies.
Axar.az reports that organized with strategic partnership from the Ministry of Economy and "The European House – Ambrosetti & TEHA Group," the event convened senior government officials, global investors, representatives of international financial institutions, think tanks, and business leaders.
Centered on the theme "Restoring Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Stability," the forum examined global economic trends, investment prospects, and regional cooperation. Discussions focused on Azerbaijan’s investment climate, Middle Corridor transit prospects, industrial and free economic zones, artificial intelligence, green energy transition, capital markets, agribusiness, critical raw materials, and economic security.
The 23 signed agreements cover projects in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, construction, digital economy, industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, finance, and water management.
Combined with joint initiatives announced during Baku Energy Week in June, the total value of planned investment projects in Azerbaijan has reached $16.7 billion.
