Azerbaijan sold 220 million tons of profit oil so far

Some 220 million tons of oil have been produced in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and gas fields block.

This was announced by the first vice-president of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan), Khoshbakht Yusifzade, at the 23rd International Caspian Oil Gas Exhibition in Baku.

Yusifzade noted that 13,5 million tons of oil was produced at the ACG during the first five months of 2016. Some 7,5 million tons of oil account for Azerbaijani profitable oil.

SOCAR official noted that via the existing transportation routes 412 million tons of oil were transported from Azerbaijan until June 1, 2016. According to him, 304 million tons of which were transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
