Saudi Arabia’s Al-Orouba have signed former Qarabag player Abdullah Zubir.

Axar.az reports that the midfielder will play for the team until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Zubir also made his debut for his new club after signing the contract. The 34-year-old winger came on as a substitute after starting the match against Al-Rabia on the bench. The game ended 2-2.

It should be noted that French media reported yesterday that there had been problems with Zubir’s move to Al-Orouba, with the transfer reportedly not being approved by the federation due to financial issues.

As a reminder, Zubir joined Qarabag from French club Lens in 2018.
