Major staff changes have been made at the Board of Trustees of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund.

Ilgar Muradov, a member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Market Supervisory Chamber, was appointed as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund. The chairman of Unibank OJSC Supervisory Board, Eldar Garibov, previously held this post.

The head of the strategic planning and forecasting department at the Ministry of Economy, Yalchin Azizov, the head of the Finance Ministry’s financial and insurance market regulation department, Ziyaddin Allahverdiyev, and the chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadov retained in their positions.

The director general of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Rashad Orujov, the head of the CBA legal department, Rana Malikova, and the senior inspector of the CBA Department of Supervision over Credit Institutions, Isi Mustafayev, were excluded from the Board of Trustees of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund.

The chief of the strategic analysis and risk management department at the Financial Market supervisory chamber, Asim Zulfugarov, the head of the CBA macroeconomic research department, Shaig Adigozalov, and the chairman of the Kapital Bank OJSC Supervisory Board, Jalal Gasimov, became new members of the Board of Trustees of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund.
