Al Qaeda's leader was killed

Asim Omar, the head of the Indian subcontinent of al-Qaeda's terrorist organization, was killed in Afghanistan's Gilmend province.

Axar.az reports citing the Afghan National Security Directorate.

Omar was killed in an airstrike at the Al Qaeda training camp.

Seven more terrorists were killed along with Omar.
