EU FM's to approve largest sanctions package against Russia

The European Union plans to approve its largest package of sanctions targeting Russia’s war machine since the start of the war, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has said.

Axar.az reports that Kallas announced this in a post on X.

“Suspending sanctions on Russian diesel provides Moscow with more revenues to wage war. This is not the time to ease pressure on Russia, and Europe won’t,” she said.

Kallas added that on Monday, EU Foreign Ministers intend to approve the biggest set of sanctions listings targeting Russia’s war machine since the start of the war.
