On Azerbaijan’s Memorial Day, we remember the Azerbaijanis who lost their lives during the decades-long conflict.

Axar.az reports that this was shared on the X social media account of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

“On August 8 in Washington, we witnessed the beginning of a new stage for the South Caucasus, and the United States will continue its efforts to strengthen lasting peace in the region.

The U.S. Embassy extends its deepest condolences to the Azerbaijanis who lost their loved ones and to their families,” the post stated.
