Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has congratulated Turkiye on Republic Day.

Axar.az reports the congratulatory message was shared on the MFA’s X account.

"On the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkiye, we sincerely congratulate the brotherly people and state of Turkiye.

On this historic day, we pay deep respect to the founder of the Republic of Turkiye, the great Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, as well as to the martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives for the establishment of the Republic.

The Republic of Turkiye — a symbol of peace, justice, and progress in the region — and the unique brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkiye will live forever and serve as an example for future generations.

On this remarkable day, we wish our brotherly Turkiye lasting peace, prosperity, and progress, and express our confidence that the unity and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkiye will remain eternal," the message reads.
