US Senate fails 13th vote on government funding bill

The 13th vote on the Republican-led bill to fund the government (shutdown) in the US Senate failed.

Axar.az reports that the bill failed to pass the 60-vote threshold, with 54 votes in favor and 45 against.

The bill was supposed to be funded until November 21.

The shutdown in the US has been going on for 27 days. This is the second-longest shutdown in US history.
