Azerbaijani player called up to Russian youth team

Azerbaijani footballer Ulvi Babayev, who plays for Russia’s Dynamo Moscow, has been called up to the Russian youth national team.

Axar.az reports the announcement was made by the Russian Football Union.

He has been included in the team’s extended 38-player squad.

It is worth noting that AFFA had been in talks to invite Ulvi Babayev to join the Azerbaijani national team.
