Azerbaijan will continue its efforts to ensure lasting peace in the region and to develop transport projects, particularly transportation links along the TRIPP route.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks on October 29 while receiving a delegation led by Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the discussion, it was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE have successfully developed at the level of strategic partnership across all areas. In this context, investments by the "Masdar" company in Azerbaijan’s renewable energy sector, SOCAR-ADNOC cooperation, and mutual investments were also highlighted.
